Female caregiver required in the Deep South.
8 minutes south of Legacy/Walden/Seton.
NO transit to our neighborhood.
You need a car.

Care of special needs child with a trach.
She is a happy 10 year old that is non verbal but communicates well in other ways.
No behavioural needs required.
Trach care, Gtube use, vigilant monitoring, diapering, playing, playground, physiotherapy, etc.
Medical training will be provided, but basic knowledge and experience with medical things is a huge plus.
I will register you for a Trach course through Alberta Children’s hospital Jan 9/10, if you are a good candidate. Paid time
Currently hiring for weekends and school PD days, 10-12 hour shifts.
Potential for more when she is home from school sick.
*more hours available on school holidays and summer.
You are an ideal candidate if you are looking for a long-term / part time and are very reliable and in good physical health.
You are also ideal if you have a positive attitude, are energetic, playful, patient, and kind and enjoy kids … and are not squeamish or nervous about medical needs.
If you have young children and might struggle with childcare/illness, this would not be the job for you.
EAs and Health Care Aides would also be good for this position.
