We're all about our people and our customers. We live and breathe our values - Great People Doing Great Things, Relentlessly Improving Performance, Spending Money Wisely, and delivering top-notch customer service.

At Flagship Group, we are dedicated to solving the housing crisis in the East of England. Our mission, "Housing Made Simple," aims to make renting homes as easy as possible for our customers while ensuring compliance with legislation and our policies.

We have a great fixed term opportunity for 10 months as a Housing Officer based out of our Riduna Park off in Melton, near Woodbridge. You will play a crucial role in delivering supportive and proactive tenancy management. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide the necessary support to ensure they can enjoy their homes and sustain their tenancies. Your responsibilities will include managing a caseload, addressing concerns such as safeguarding, hoarding, property conditions, and mental health support, as well as assisting with tenancy breaches and fraud management. You will provide outstanding customer service and make a real difference in our tenants' lives. Supporting the Housing Manager in leading our vision of "Housing Made Simple," you will ensure compliance with legislation and Flagship’s policies and procedures.

You will manage a caseload and prioritise based on urgency, addressing tenant concerns, including safeguarding, hoarding, property conditions, and mental health support. Additionally, you will assist with managing tenancy breaches and fraud. We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills who can deliver complex messages simply and engagingly.

Strong listening and empathy skills are essential to act in the tenants' best interests. You should be able to prioritise and manage a caseload effectively.

You should be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent and holding a full UK driving license.

This role provides in-depth knowledge of the housing sector and housing law, along with opportunities to develop influencing and communication skills. You will also have the chance to build relationships with wider teams across the Group.

In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive salary and a benefits package that includes:
• Company vehicle
• 25 days annual leave (increasing to 28 days with length of service), with the ability to buy and sell leave.
• Access to the Flagship Rewards Scheme offering savings on groceries and VIP rewards
• Death in Service Benefit
• Company Sick Pay
• An agile working environment to achieve a healthy work/life balance

and that’s not all! We’re also proud to offer;
• Opportunities for development (including apprenticeships, our Academy, and various training options)
• Health and well-being programs and initiatives
• Empowerment (we give you the tools and systems to make the right decisions for resolving issues)
