Position: Customer Service Specialist

Department: Branch Administration

Reports to: Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager

Supervises: None

Status: Non-Exempt / Full-Time / on-site

Level: Level 5

Must already be authorized to work in the United States. Relocation is not provided.

Position Summary:
• As a Customer Service Specialist, you will engage with both new and existing customers, offering sales and service for a variety of deposit products and services.
• You will excel in relationship selling and possess strong product knowledge.
• Responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently will be part of your daily tasks.
• Identify sales and referral opportunities while providing exceptional service.
• You may also have teller processing responsibilities and will be highly proficient in this area.

Job Requirements:
• Previous experience in a front-line banking or financial services role is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Demonstrated customer sales, service, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and technical skills, with proficiency in computer software.
• Willingness to adapt and embrace change.

Essential Job Functions:
• Mastery of the sales and service of all deposit products and services, as well as some consumer loans.
• Proactively engage customers to identify needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Generate quality referrals for a variety of products including residential mortgages, consumer loans, and small business loans.
• Provide outstanding service and support to customers and coworkers alike.
• Actively participate in branch sales initiatives, campaigns, and promotions.
• Efficiently process teller transactions and fulfill all related responsibilities.
• Respond promptly to customer problems and find effective resolutions.
• Follow all policies and procedures related to security, compliance, and operations.
• Perform additional duties as required.
