Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for helping individuals achieve optimal eye health.
Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive eye exams to evaluate patients’ vision and detect eye conditions.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and manage ocular health conditions.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
• Provide pre-and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
• Educate patients on proper eye care practices and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.
• Current state license to practice optometry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
