We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Duty Manager at one of the UK's busiest airports – London Luton Airport.

The Role
The Luton PRM Team provide assistance to passengers requiring support (PRM) arriving and departing through the airport. The service covers the operational schedule, 365 days per year and employs a diverse workforce to deliver this detailed & dynamic service.
The Duty Managers are responsible for ensuring the operational team deliver services to a client requirement on a seven day per week basis.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and keeping those around you both safe and secure.
• The Duty Manager (DM) is responsible for working with up to 4 DMs in leading the PRM operational team to deliver services to the clients and legislative requirement.
• The DMs daily are responsible for ensuring the passenger assistance operations run smoothly across the terminals in the primary areas for passengers on checking in, going through security, travelling through immigration, to arrivals, departures and connections.
• Each DM is responsible for in the region of 75 staff each day and will be responsible for Passenger Service Agents and Ramp staff.
• Day to Day resource management ensure each space has the appropriate volume of staff and adapt as the operations demands by moving staff around the terminal.
• Proactively plan and use foresight to proactively manage the operation. By managing heavy volume flights.
• Promote and ensure a high level of Customer Service is provided from our the PRM Team in their dealings with the passengers and conduct Audits, manage escalations and training as required.
• Promote Operational Delivery is delivered in line with SLA's and CAA performance standards.
Essential
• Proven experience of managing teams in an operational environment
• Track record of strong communication and influencing skills
• Significant experience in handling customer complaints both face to face and in writing
• Experience of managing employees through all HR processes (ownership of life cycle)
• Proven experience of managing budget (headcount or financial)
• IT Skills
• Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
• Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance to ensure team effectiveness and availability
• Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team
• Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the public
