Job purpose
The Production Supervisor II is responsible for production functions. This individual directs and monitors the daily activities of Supervisors, Leads and work area employees, while ensuring the production of all scheduled orders are done per specification, GMP compliant and, to our Food Safety Policy.
Duties and responsibilities
• Model and support the CandyCo Safety Culture and strive for 100% Safety policy compliance
• Manage and direct the daily activities of Production work area Leads and their employees
• Attend daily shift exchange meetings and send out daily reports
• Monitor employee attendance, review time clock for missed punches, late to shift, and excessive absences
-Support, train, and coach the Supervisor I positions for improved execution and coordination -Efficiently supervise the production of scheduled orders efficiently and GMP compliant -Works closely with QA, Warehouse, Logistics, et all to execute all planned programs -Train and supervise Production staff personnel -Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to FIFO, HOLDS, and Expiry of materials -Maintain and improve Production cost-controls, headcounts, and Production line efficiencies
• Lead as Point of Contact when the Production Shift Manager is not present
Qualifications
• Must have an excellent Safety record and champion a Safety culture
• Minimum of 2-years' experience in a supervisor position, directing Production activities
• Must have strong, positive leadership, communication, and organization skills
-Bilingual skills preferred, not required (English, Spanish) -Must have strong PC skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and math skills
• Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis
• Past job performance must reflect dependability, maturity, initiative, positive personal Demeanor and the ability to exercise good judgement
• SAP, ROSS, PLEX, or other ERP environment skill and abilities a plus, or must be able to learn
Working conditions
• Must be able to work any/all shifts as directed
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary, including Holidays and/or weekends
• Must be able to work the lines and fill in positions as needed / directed
Physical requirements
• Ability to stand and walking around the facility 95% of the shift (rolling desk are available)
-Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs unassisted, reaching, kneeling and twisting at times -A non-slip resistant work shoe -Pre-shift stretch and exercises to be performed -Hair restraint, beard net (if needed), and Safety gloves as warranted

• This position does not have direct reports, but has indirect reports of Supervisors, Leads and Operators, both permanent and temporary employees.
