The Department of Retail, Hospitality, and Tourism Management (RHTM), in the College ofEducation, Health and Human Sciences (CEHHS) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville(UTK) seeks applications for a 9-month, Clinical Instructor in the Retail and Merchandising Management program. The position start date is January 1 or August 1, 2025. This is a non-tenure track, nine-month position with a ...salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.Required Qualifications• A master’s degree in retail, fashion merchandising and/or marketing, or a closely related discipline by the time of application• Evidence of quality teaching in face-to-face and online classes at an accredited post-secondary institution• Proven record of teaching a variety of topics in retail, merchandising, and/or fashion management• Effective communication and interpersonal skillsDesired Qualifications• Evidence of effective and innovative course development and instruction at the post-secondary level• Progressive managerial experience in the retail or fashion industryScreening of applications will begin on September 1, 2024 and continue until the position is filled.
