The successful candidate will provide expertise and analytical support to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency''''s
(DTRA) Operations and Integration Directorate, Operations Department to assist in the development, integration,
and coordination of current and emerging operations, activities, and investments for the Agency. Primary
portfolio of responsibilities will include planning and execution support to the DTRA Crisis Action Team for
operational crisis management, as well as support to the Agency Continuity of Operations (COOP) Program
Manager and Current Operations Department programs, projects, and activities, as required. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Develop Continuity of Operations plans and supporting activities
• Provide support to crisis management program activities
• Coordinate operational mission support within the Agency
• Assist customer Global Force Manager
• Integrate DTRA support with external customer operations
• Prepare plans, orders, and supporting documents for DTRA missions
• Develop white papers and briefings within your portfolio activities
• Provide expertise on joint and interagency processes and procedures within your portfolio
• Manage events and activities to support the DTRA Operations Center
• Assist in development, coordination, and execution of events to support your portfolio activities
• A current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• Five (5) years of practical experience.
Prior experience with DTRA CWMD mission area
• Demonstrated expertise with DOD and Federal Continuity of Operations plans and programs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to perform tasks under deadlines
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Excellent reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to interact with employees from other departments or groups DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Prior Department of Defense environment experience
• Prior DTRA experience
• Prior Operations Center crisis or contingency support experience
• Expertise with Microsoft Office tools EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• A minimum of a bachelor''''s degree from an accredited institution PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
