Essential Functions:
Prepare rate indications and experience exhibits using standard rate making techniques.
Provide impact analysis and actuarial support for rate filings.
Extract, manipulate, and validate internal and external data sources using SQL, SAS, Excel and other industry standard software.
Work closely with actuarial staff, product analysts and/or product and pricing coordinators to develop proposed pricing changes and pricing strategy.
Continue to develop your actuarial education through taking and passing Casualty Actuarial Society examinations and/or on the job education.
Additional Responsibilities:
May provide corporate actuarial support to actuarial management team evaluating items such as reserves, corporate profit margins, and reinsurance treaty pricing.
Education: Bachelor's Degree- In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field, Successful completion of one or more Casualty Actuarial Society exams.
Experience: Actuarial Internship or other business experience preferred. Entry level applicants also encouraged to apply.
