We are specialists in the education sector with a highly qualified team. We are passionate about supporting the education sector in payroll and HR.

About the Role:

We are currently looking to recruit a dedicated Bacs & Payments Administrator, to join our team. This role involves ensuring all payroll and related payments are processed accurately and on time, enhancing profitability and customer experience.
Main responsibilities include (but will not be limited to):
• Payment Administration: Process payments/advances and collections via BACS, and manage urgent payment requests.
• Customer Service: Address queries from clients and colleagues, providing high-level service via various communication channels.
• Record Keeping: Maintain logs of payroll payment requests and ad-hoc data reports.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks: Assist with User Acceptance Testing and undertake other duties as requested.
• Payroll Processing: Some monthly payroll input will be required to enhance understanding of the main role.
• Training: Complete all mandatory training and participate in role-relevant training sessions.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will need:
• A strong administrator with Advanced Excel skills, specifically (VLookups, Pivot Tables etc), problem solving, data analysis to manipulate and upload data, data management skills
• Basic understanding of payroll would be desirable but is not essential
• High attention to detail and problem solving
• Ability to work as part of a highly motivated team and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects at a time, while maintaining attention to detail
• Ready to challenge discrepancies where occurring
• Hands-on attitude and willingness to learn.
