Minimum RequirementsMatric certificate/ equivalentBatch Plant certificate will be an advantage.Competent BValid Driver’s licenseMedically fit to work undergroundExperience, Knowledge & SkillsAt least 3 years of experience in operating a concrete batching plant or similar production environment.Experience with automated batching systems and plant control software (e.g., Command Alko...n, Marcotte, SIMEM, or similar).Familiarity with concrete mix designs and quality control procedures.Experience in performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on batching equipment.Strong understanding of concrete batching processes and material propertiesAbility to operate automated batching systems and related equipment.Ability to work collaboratively with other plant operators, maintenance personnel, and quality control staff.Roles & ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor the batching plant to produce concrete according to specified mix designs.Perform daily plant checks, calibrations, and routine maintenance to ensure optimal plant performance.Manage raw material levels, conduct inspections, and report inventory needs to maintain continuous production.Coordinate with the quality control team to evaluate and adjust concrete mixes to meet project requirements.Ensure accurate recording of production data, batch reports, and delivery schedules.Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with minimal downtime.Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.Communicate effectively with plant operators, drivers, and project teams to meet delivery timelines.
