We currently have part-time opportunities on our Member Services team in our Health and Fitness Center.
Available shifts:
• Monday 5:00pm - 10:15pm
• Tuesdays 12:00pm – 5:00pm
• Wednesday 5:00pm - 10:15pm
• Thursdays 12:00pm – 5:00pm
• Saturdays 12:45pm - 7:15pm
• Sundays 12:45pm - 7:15pm
Pay rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
Our Member Services Representatives deliver exceptional customer service to all members and guests of YWCA St. Paul Health and Fitness Center.
In this role you will:
• Greet members and guests and provide service in a friendly, professional manner
• Submit monthly membership info for reimbursement
• Membership billing follow up processes and communication
• Completely process all scholarship membership applications in a timely manner
• Tracking new memberships, including all of the 7-day trial membership communications
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas within the facility at all times with regular walk throughs
• Daily maintenance of guest pass usage and processing of all membership changes
• Class changes communications as needed
• Update parking lot kiosk sign, monthly
• Customize the buying experience for prospective members in online new membership purchases
• Initiate, develop, and grow relationships with new and current members, encouraging usage of all offerings of the facility
• Open the Health and Fitness Center (Saturdays)
• Other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will have:
• High school diploma/GED/working toward diploma
• Minimum of 6 months experience in customer service/sales
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to talk to everyone
• Comfort and self-confidence in engaging prospective members and welcoming current members
• Ability to work with diverse populations and be inclusive to all
• Ability to problem solve independently, self-motivate, and maintain confidentiality
• Reliability in attendance and responsibility
Preference will be given to applicants with experience working in fitness, retail, or hospitality industries who have current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
