Unity Search has been engaged by a highly respected Financial Services company in the Irving/Las Colinas area in its search for Financial Reporting Director. Reporting directly to the CFO, this person will be responsible for the preparation and filing of the financial institution’s external financial reports (including quarterly and annual SEC filings and monthly and quarterly call reports) and internal Board of Directors’ reports while also communicating regularly with the company’s external auditors and performing technical accounting research to ensure compliance with new and old pronouncements impacting the company.

Skills Required:
• CPA required
• SEC reporting exposure required
• 8+ years of related experience
• Public accounting foundation preferred
• Exposure to both public accounting and industry SEC reporting preferred
• Exposure to Banking (preferred) or Financial Services industries strongly preferred
• Exposure to interest rate/hedge accounting preferred
• Exposure to XBRL and/or Workiva preferred
Compensation: $160K to $210K + bonus
