We are seeking a talented Unity Developer to join our small, dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for game development and expertise in 2D game design, specifically targeting iOS and Android platforms. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create engaging and high-quality learning/gaming experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement 2D games using Unity for iOS and Android platforms
• Collaborate with artists and designers to create intuitive and visually appealing UI elements
• Optimize game performance and troubleshoot issues across different mobile devices
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality through best practices and version control
• Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile game development and propose innovative ideas for new features
Qualifications
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related
• 10+ years if experience as a Game Developer with a focus on Unity/C# development
• Experience writing customer-facing code
• Experience Unity 2D and Unity UI
• Experience developing games for native iOS/Android deployment
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, while collaborating effectively with a team
