About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Lighting Designer to join our expanding Lighting Design team. This role is a junior position with the potential to move into a Lighting engineer role and is an excellent opportunity for someone who is working towards their LIA certificate.
Duties
• Working as part of a team to design and coordinate lighting projects from start to finish, using data provided to create a finished presentation for the customer.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to understand their requirements and concepts, offering alternative solutions where required.
• Create detailed lighting plans for both internal and external lighting requirements, using AutoCAD software, Relux & Dialux, ensuring accuracy in design and implementation.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in lighting technology and legislation.
• Brief and liaise with the Lighting Design Manager, Technical Director and other departments to ensure projects meet regulations and compliance.

Essential
• Experience using AutoCAD softward
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• An eye for attention to detail
• Demonstrate a good understanding of lighting fundamentals and specifications

• Previous experience of working within the lighting industry

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
