JOB DETAILS:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development and Operations Coordinator for our mid-entry level lodge. This role will be responsible for supporting the business development efforts and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the lodge. The ideal candidate should possess a diploma in sales and marketing, as well as a diploma in hotel management or hotel operations, to effectively carry out the responsibilities of this role.

Responsibilities:
Business Development:
• Identify potential business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to drive revenue growth.
• Conduct market research to identify target customer segments and develop strategies to reach them.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new leads.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility.

Operations Coordination:
• Oversee daily lodge operations to ensure efficient and smooth functioning.
• Coordinate with various departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor and manage room reservations, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with guests.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency and quality.

Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators, including occupancy rates, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze sales and marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Make recommendations based on data analysis to optimize business development and operational strategies.

Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure effective communication and alignment of goals.
• Support and assist team members as needed to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:
• Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
• Diploma in Hotel Management or Hotel Operations.
• Previous experience in business development, sales, or hotel operations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
