About the Position
As a Dietary Aide, your primary responsibilities will be to prepare and serve food, as well as setting up dining areas and tables in preparation for meal service.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Shift differential: $2.00/hour, plus an additional $1.50 on weekends
Shift: 4:30pm - 7pm, rotating weekends and holidays, 4-5 shifts per pay period (2-3 shifts per week).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Set up dining room and tables to ensure a clean and attractive appearance
• Transport food and drink items to satellite kitchens as directed
• Serves food and drink items timely in a friendly and courteous manner
• Respectful of resident food and drink preferences
• Offers alternate food and/or drink items to residents as needed
• Assists in the preparation of foods as needed
• Clears tables after meal service and ensures tables are cleaned and reset
• Washes dishes, silverware, and cookware; stores items
