General Summary
Responsible for beverage service at various bar locations within Artis–Naples and working private parties as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
• Uniform: Required to wear white button down long sleeve shirts, black dress slacks, black non-slip shoes, and black socks. Artis—Naples will provide a vest and bow tie.
• Report to manager on arrival and punch in on the time clock.
• Receive briefing from manager regarding the nature of performance or private event. Any special instructions will be received at that time and bar location assignments will be made.
• Collect liquor inventory sheets and keys from the wall in the kitchen. If your setup is not ready, report to the manager for instructions.
• Complete your assigned opening side work right away, always use fresh lemons and limes and ensure the ice bins get filled up all the way in the bars.
• Check your inventory sheets; restock liquor, beer, wine and champagne if needed to bring up to par stock.
• Be sure sufficient bar supplies are in place (plastic glassware, napkins and fruit garnish).
• Report to the manager to receive evening’s bank.
• Open bar at the designated time. Please set up and return the bars the same way each time, so every bartender knows where the items belong in each bar.
• Check your bank for correct amount of cash prior to opening.
• Restock any items that are running low after the Event starts, especially coffees and water bottles, be prepared to open for intermission.
• Following intermission, close bar. Bank will be collected by the manager or supervisor on duty.
• Inventory all liquor, wine, beer, soft drinks, mineral water, bottled water and complete inventory sheet entirely.
• Clean bar area completely, this includes taking trash receptacle and returning to bar. Do not drag trash on floor.
• Restock all sodas, wines and liquors to bring up to par stock for next service.
• Maintain acceptable beverage cost levels by not over pouring or wasting liquor.
• Report back to the manager or supervisor for any last minute instructions.
• Return inventory sheet to manager or supervisor on duty.
• Punch out on time clock after being released by manager or supervisor on duty.
• Observe safety requirements. Report safety issues and items requiring work orders to supervisor or safety and security.
• Work effectively with all Artis–Naples team members.
