Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking a Sales Engineer / Account Manager to join their team. Achieve assigned bookings and sales margin growth goals through the sale of process control products and services, to enable pipeline customers to optimize their processes. Represent control valves, regulators, flow products, actuation, isolation valves, safety relief valves, and supporting instrumentation. Develop assigned territory marketing and sales plans for profitable growth. Create and execute evergreen, strategic account plans for all Most Valuable Customers.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
• Identify and qualify new sales opportunities.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations and proposals.
• Close sales and manage customer accounts.
• Work with engineering and operations teams to develop and implement solutions that meet customer needs.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Develop and execute marketing and sales plans for the assigned territory.
• Track and report on sales performance.
Required Qualifications:
• BS in Engineering is preferred but not required. Others will be considered based on experience and competencies.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in engineering and/or pipeline process control functions.
• Sales experience is not required if there is a strong desire to move into Pipeline Sales, selling engineered products and solutions to customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to travel extensively.
• Overnight travel is required, car and air travel. The Territories are Florida and South GA.
