This is an exciting chance for someone ready to make an impact and drive financial success within a collaborative environment.Core Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Hire, train, and manage a skilled team of accounting professionals, fostering a high-performing work environment.Month-End Close: Oversee the month-end close process, including reviewing contracts and ensuring journal entries are accurately maintained.Policy & Compliance: Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP standards.Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports for corporate executives and management.Reconciliation: Perform and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Tax Filings Support: Help prepare financial statements for annual corporate tax filings.Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and minimize risks.Budgeting & Forecasting: Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts.Data Integrity: Oversee the flow of financial data from interfaces, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all processes.What We’re Looking For:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA/CPA or eligibility is a plus.Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in consumer products or a similar industry.Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team while managing complex accounting functions.Technical Skills: Deep understanding of GAAP principles, general accounting functions, and financial reporting.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to executives and stakeholders.Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Office Suite, and accounting software.
