Description:
Classification: Variable Hour, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Store General Manager / District Manager/ Maintenance Lead
Purpose: To perform reliable general building maintenance of restaurant and grounds to ensure the cleanliness, upkeep, and safety of each location. This position includes other duties as assigned to assist preparation for daily shift and operational duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Providing team and management with excellent support under stress, following direction and daily checklists with a friendly and professional attitude
• Maintain the cleanliness of the property which includes but not limited to: FOH, BOH, restrooms, exterior sidewalks, parking, and landscaping
• Removal of trash & recycling throughout the property into the designated waste bins
• Helping to safely unload and put away truck orders with care and respect for the product
• Washing dishes according to food safety guidelines
• Assist with basic repair and maintenance when possible
• Keep the lot, lobby, dining room, kitchen counters/service areas and restrooms clean
• Always follow all food and personal safety procedures for the designated tasks such as use of PPE (nonslip shoes, protective face gear, cut gloves, 3 compartment sink, etc.)
• Replenish and rotate supplies for personal workstation every shift as well as assisting others as needed
• Upon request assist with preparation of food items when assigned with the attention to detail that ensures accuracy and timeliness
• Operating assigned equipment only as it was intended, reporting any issues or concerns immediately to management
• Be dressed and ready to work on time, ensuring hygiene and appearance adheres to uniform guidelines
• Other related duties as assigned
Requirements:

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with company policies and procedures, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs without assistance
• Regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear. Frequently required to use hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with arms and hands
• Must be able to maintain balance to stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours a day in environment with hazards including slippery (wet or icy) floors, sharp equipment, and waist level kitchen hazards including fryers and stove tops
• Ability to execute frequent repetitive physical motions such as walking, bending, reaching above head, reaching at waist level, reaching below waist, button pushing, for up to 8 hours a day
• Must be able to work in high stress, high temperature environments for up to 8 hours a day
