Location
Our client is in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. We are an easy day trip to Philadelphia, PA, and the Jersey Shore, and if you want to go to a bigger city,
you can explore New York, NY, in just over two hours. Tamaqua has excellent schools and a lower cost of living than many other cities across the state.
On the weekends, you can explore the local breweries and farmers’ markets or enjoy a hike on one of the many trails in the area.
Practice Overview
Our client’s facility, for more than twenty years, has been a privately owned small animal practice serving pets of all shapes and sizes for over twenty years.
They aim to provide high-quality medical and surgical services to their patients that exceed expectations and build long-lasting relationships with their clients.

What You’ll Be Working On
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of small animal cases
• Perform general wellness exams and surgeries
• Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care
• Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
• Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork
Qualifications
• A doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program is required
• Be licensed or able to become licensed in the state of Pennsylvania
• A minimum of three years of experience is preferred, open to new grads
• Experience or interest in providing high-quality medicine and surgery is required
• Ability to work one Saturday (8:30 am – 11:00 am) per month is required
• Experience or interest in working exotic animal cases or ultrasound experience a plus
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for continuous learning
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
