Production Supervisor - Contract
Payrate:$34.00/hour
Location:West Point, GA
Assist Production Manager by assuring that the assigned production department is operated in the most profitable and efficient basis through proper utilization of assigned manpower, materials, equipment, and space. The position is responsible for organizing all assigned resources to produce products according to tcurreschedule, and according to the approved quality standard
Must be able to train on 1st shift and work on 2nd shift plus
Qualifications:
• Must have 5 years manufacturing experience
• Post secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience. HS or GED require
Managing team schedules
• Training new hires
• Evaluating performance and providing feedback
• Knowledge of health and safety regulation
• Identifying and applying career advancement opportunities
• Helping to resolve employee issues and disputes.
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong computer skills (word, excel, and PPT)
• The ability to solve problems
• Proactive approach to managing team members and the production shop
• Problem solving abilities
• Analytical skills
• Decision-Making abilities
• The ability to work 1st and 2nd shifts
• The ability to lift 50 lbs. throughout the shift
• Excellent time management skills
Training is 1st shift for about a month (Mon-Fri, some Sats.)
Seeking candidates that have flexibilty to work 1st or 2nd shift, and switch shifts as needs of business change. Adient is asking for flexibililty. Please confirm candidate flexibility on resume or Candidate Screening form.
Position is 1st shift 8:30am -4:30pm ( 8 hr days, some OT)
Position is 2nd shift 8:30pm- 4:30am ( 8 hr days, some OT)
Bilingual will be a plus!
