Company Description
We are a small but fast growing primarily IFT company that also responds to Urgent and Emergent calls for our partner facilities. The company started in 2019 and since February of this year we have more than doubled our trucks, staff, and call volume. We are looking to grow even more moving into the new year. Currently we are not a 24 hour operation but looking to move in that direction quickly as we employee the right staff to help us acheive this.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an EMT, EMT-A, or Paramedic at MetaCare EMS in Euless, TX. As an EMT, EMT-A, or Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care, assessing patients' conditions, administering treatment, and transporting patients to and from medical facilities.
Along with patient care, we are looking for indivuals that will be onboard with training and education, not only among our staff but also helping build our education and outreach programs for other facilites and partners.
Qualifications
• Valid EMT,
EMT-A,
• or Paramedic certification for the state of Texas.
• Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures (skills) and protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
• Physical stamina and strength to perform essential job functions
• Ability and willingness to work with multiple different staff education levels and work ethics.
• Must be a team player and able to say yes to our changing work atmosphere more than saying no.
