Hope For Youth is looking to hire a part time Case Aide for our Therapeutic Foster Care Program in Amityville! Hope For Youth is a nonprofit organization striving to provide positive outcomes for children, adolescents, and families for over 50 years! To be successful, you must be ready willing and able to abide by agency policies, rules and procedures.
How you will generally spend your time in this job:
60% General Responsibilities such as conducting visits, completing documentation, maintaining records, scheduling appointments, answering phones and casework items as assigned
30 % Supporting youth, including supervising visits and transports
10 % Staff meetings/supervision/training
Minimum Requirements Include
• A High School Diploma or GED
• Driving; Driving positions require NYS License, in good standing and drivers must be 21 years of age or older.
• Computer Knowledge
• Physical Requirements: read/write reports and log entries, walking/standing for prolonged periods, bending/stooping, kneeling/squatting, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, repetitive wrist/finger movements, driving own vehicle
• Relevant Experience Preferred
