Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our South Central Region leadership team in the role of Director – Clinical Operations, Inpatient Critical Care Services.
The Director – Clinical Operations, Inpatient Critical Care provides administrative direction to the multi-disciplinary care center with an emphasis on quality management and enhanced customer service. The Director is responsible for providing leadership in all facets of patient care and is accountable for the initiation and completion of business and unit plans that ensure quality while utilizing available resources efficiently. This leader is accountable for alignment of the care center vision with the organization mission, values and excellence goals (people, service, financial, clinical). May be responsible for 24-hour accountability.

Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be selected from a diverse pool and will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
• Masters of Nursing or related field is required or actively enrolled.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Requires completion Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year upon meeting eligibility requirements.
• Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.
