Position: Youth Minister Northview Church of Christ Statesville, NC, United States of America Youth
Northview is a growing, non-denominational Church of Christ in Statesville, NC. A few years ago, we realized that, like many churches, our attendance had been slowly declining and the median age of our congregation had been slowly increasing. Upon this recognition, we entered into a period of discernment and began to shift the focus of our church. While this is still a work in progress, we have been blessed to both grow in attendance and to grow younger as a congregation.
We are excited to see where the Lord continues to lead!
About the Position Position Description
The Youth Minister will be responsible for the spiritual leadership and welfare of the youth group. This includes guiding teens into deeper relationships with Jesus in all facets of life such as worship, education, personal discipleship, and evangelism. He will build relationships with all teens and their families in such a way that the youth ministry will be fully integrated into the life of the broader church.
He will support and develop God's vision for Northview by faithfully following where the Spirit leads.
