Our client, a leading company specializing in custom retail displays and store fixtures, is seeking a Production Clerk to join our client's team in Union City, CA. The ideal candidate will monitor, fulfill, and maintain web-based hotlines.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor, fulfill, and maintain web-based hotlines
• Assist with preparing various reports (tracking, parts lists, etc.)
• Read basic drawings and layouts to determine required parts
• Communicate with stores, team members, operations members, or store managers to clarify hotline requests and ensure accurate parts shipment
• Supply shipping information and prepare shipping memos
• Prepare invoices for fulfillment parts and post invoices to retailer’s web-based systems
• Differentiate inventory allocated for new stores versus replacements
• Handle inbound calls from stores and clients for fulfillment requests on other production jobs
• Provide backup to the Front Office Associate when needed
Requirements:
• Reliable and accountable with consistent attendance and punctuality
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to follow directions with minimal supervision
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel); ability to create and maintain documents and spreadsheets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels within the organization
• Strong reasoning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be proactive and anticipate potential problems
Schedule and Pay:
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
