Atlas Professionals is seeking a Crewing Coordinator to join our US Marine team. Atlas Professionals is a global leading recruitment company in the oil and gas, marine and renewables industry with 25 offices in 18 countries. This role is working with one of our key clients on a new project to provide support for all the marine training requirements for the professionals working on a new US flagged vessel. This is a fully in-office position in Virginia Beach, VA.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that the relevant certification requirements are met in line with the Client Matrix
• Communicate with the professionals to organize and book the necessary training, updating relevant systems and informing the client of progress
• Liaising with the Clients and the Crew Manager on a day-to-day basis
• Scheduling and assisting with crew changes
Desired Skills:
• Marine or Maritime experience is preferred but not required - must have desire to learn about the industry
• Ability to analyze and use large data sets
• A keen eye for detail
• Exceptional communication skills
• Able to effectively manage time and meet deadlines
• Use and navigate comprehensive training matrices
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
