Haywood & Jackson Fabrication Limited are specialists in the design, fabrication and installation of bespoke components, structures and assemblies using CE marked structural steel and GRP materials.
Due to recent growth, Haywood & Jackson Fabrications Ltd have a fantastic opportunity for you to join the United Utilities Framework’s Team, with several vacancies available located in the Northwest.
There is an immediate requirement for Mechanical Fitters & Mechanical Supervisors.
Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Fitter you will be expected to carry out planned and reactive maintenance, including:
• Dismantling servicing and repairing all types of water treatment plant equipment
• Inspecting and refurbishing mechanical components
• Onsite minor civils engineering works
• All the above, plus leading a small team carrying out the specified works (Mechanical Supervisor)
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and capabilities:
• Mechanical installation and service experience (essential)
• Steel fabrication knowledge (ideal, but not essential)
• Computer literate (not essential, training provided)
• Good safety awareness and high personal quality standards
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• All the above, plus leadership/management experience (Mechanical Supervisor)
