Position
Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of operating CNC machines and possess excellent knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
Position Objectives
• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as necessary
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain machines and equipment by performing routine maintenance
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machining
• Solid knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and fixturing
• Excellent understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing them in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
