Ability to evaluate needs and response to music interventions. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills with patients. Is self-directed, able to function independently.FUNCTIONS:· Provides music activity (vocal/instrumental) in one-to-one settings and/or in group settings.· Documents activity and Music Therapy Assessment.· Develops plan to meet individual needs, considering the cultural, religious and personal needs/preferences.· Receives requests, suggestions and observations from the team to enhance the therapeutic value provided by the music interventions.· Leads or participates in group activities in the facilities..
