About the role
One Food Group is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Farm team in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental. As a full-time Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations and tax compliance of our growing farm production Company. Leveraging your expertise in taxation, you will ensure compliance, optimize financial processes, and support the company's strategic objectives.
What you'll be doing
• Preparing and filing accurate tax returns and reports in compliance with relevant regulations
• Maintaining meticulous financial records and accounting systems
• Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient financial operations
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Staying up-to-date with changes in taxation laws and regulations
What we're looking for
• Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification or equivalent is an advantage
• Non-board passer with significant work experience and who is familiar with tax compliance
• Strong understanding of taxation laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proficient in using accounting software and financial reporting tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
