OverviewOur client an an agricultural and agro-processing company is recruiting for a skilled accountant to join their team; Duties and responsibilities include but are not subject to;• Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.• Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data.• Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss... statements, etc.• Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.• Maintaining accurate financial records.• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.• Computing taxes.• Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.• Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts. Skills• Good time management skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively• Drive and ambition with a positive “can do” attitude• Adaptable, curious and analytical with a keenness to learn, improve and progress• Good communication skills both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail• Ability to work in a team environment Qualifications• ZICA, CIMA or ACCA qualification• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field• Atleast 5 years experience in the Accounting field
