Full Job Description
We are currently looking for a highly motivated, and experienced courier driver with their own vehicle to work our regular business hours from 8:00am till all deliveries are completed (usually 5:00pm).
Drivers will require the following:
• Well maintained / Reliable vehicle
• Smart phone with internet/data access
• Valid driver’s license
• Driver’s Abstract
• Common Carrier Insurance
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written)
• Excellent time management skills
• Good knowledge of the City of Winnipeg and surrounding areas
• Personable and neat/clean appearance
Duties include:
• Fast pace due to time sensitive deliveries
• Pick up & Deliver various items/parcels
• Team work / communication / coordination
• Physically fit (Ability to lift 50+ lbs, walking, stairs, etc)
Each driver is considered to be a self-employed owner / operator and pay commission based on a per delivery basis.
Expenses (gas / vehicle insurance / smartphone) will be the responsibility of the owner / operator.
