CT Technologist
We are seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams, screening CT exams, and interventional CT procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards. This role requires daily coordination for all CT studies, ensuring patient and provider needs are met. The ideal candidate will have a valid NYS radiology license and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R). Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Perform CT procedures utilizing the principles and knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and radiographic techniques
• Facilitate implementation and communication of new or updated protocols
• Follow organizational standards for patient identification, education, consents, and infection control
• Responsible for QA/QC procedures and maintaining standards of these programs
• Perform general radiographic procedures as needed
Location: Canton Potsdam Hospital
Physical Requirements: Medium work with frequent walking, standing, or squatting
