Salary: £41,000 pro rata (1-1.5 days a week depending on availability, 0.2-0.3 FTE, £8,200–£12,300), freelance considered

Duration: 1-year fixed term post (with possibility of extension)

Location: Manchester,UK (with possibility of hybrid work)

Hours of work: 1-1.5 days a week depending on availability

The Fundraising and Development Manager is a new and dynamic post playing a vital role in exploring creative and innovative approaches to fundraising across all areas of our work. The post-holder will be responsible for income generation through fundraising activities and strategic development of relationships to meet esea contemporary’s financial ambitions. Building and fostering key relationships with businesses, corporate and private donors, patrons, trusts and foundations, as well as public grant-making bodies is a key aspect of the role. You will work closely with the Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) to achieve esea contemporary's financial targets and secure sustainable funding and income sources that support the organisation's mission.

The post-holder will be responsible for generating income through fundraising activities and developing strategic relationships to support esea contemporary’s financial goals.
