Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.
Duties
• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and menu specifications.
• Assist in meal preparation for catering events and daily restaurant service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
• Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure high standards of hygiene are maintained.
• Utilize various kitchen equipment, including knives and cooking appliances, safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting in ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 35 per week
