Yard Operative in Sundon Park Luton
Newstaff Recruitment Agency is recruiting for a Yard Operative for a company based in Sundon Park Luton.
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6 am - 2 pm
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and load cardboard into a baler for recycling.
• Monitor the baler for smooth operation and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain safety standards while handling equipment and materials.
• Keep the yard clean, organised, and free of hazards.
• Assist with moving and arranging materials as required.
• Work effectively with team members to ensure operational efficiency.
• Work outdoors under a covered unit in various weather conditions.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to minimise risks.
Requirements:
• Comfortable performing manual labour, including heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
• Able to start shifts at 6 am consistently and work full hours.
• Ideall,y live locally to Sundon Park for ease of commuting.
• Ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, particularly when operating equipment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain smooth operations.
