Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a motivated and caring Vocational Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. The responsibilities of this position include providing exceptional patient care, overseeing medication administration, and contributing to the development and execution of patient care plans. This role requires a professional who is dedicated to delivering outstanding nursing care and improving patient outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Support patients in getting prepared for medical evaluation and therapy. Obtain patient medical backgrounds and keep track of vital signs
• Arrange and manage the inventory of supplies and equipment for treatments while following specified procedures and guidelines
• Support healthcare professionals in preparing for minor surgical procedures and health check-ups
• Maintain and update the patient's file, records, and relevant data consistently
• Apply nursing theory to guide the provision of patient care
• Accomplish chosen nursing and clerical functions
• Make sure that the exam and treatment rooms have all the essential tools prepared
• Provide injections and affix splints and bandages for therapeutic purposes
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Make sure to show up for all scheduled staff meetings
• Maintain strictest confidentiality
• Handle other tasks as allocated

Required Qualifications:
• Graduated from a reputable nursing school with accreditation
• Oregon LPN license current state
• The role requires candidates to possess a healthcare provider level BLS/CPR certification, or they must be able to complete the certification within 30 days of starting work
• Experienced in nursing for a period exceeding 12 months
Preferred Qualification:
• Working with an electronic medical record system entails navigating through digital databases to document and retrieve patient details securely
