Position Overview: Program Leadership and Faculty Role
We are looking for a dynamic leader to serve as Agribusiness Program Director and Assistant or Associate Professor of Agribusiness. This role will place you at the forefront of agribusiness education, where you will have the opportunity to shape the program's future and inspire the next generation of leaders in this vital field.
Faculty Responsibilities
In your role as Assistant or Associate Professor of Agribusiness, you will:
• Teach a variety of agribusiness courses across different modalities (in-person and online).
• Utilize expertise in one or more of the following areas: agricultural management, technology, finance, sustainability, data analytics, and economics.
• Engage in faculty scholarly and service activities, contributing to the field through research and professional development.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the College of Business to ensure a high-quality educational experience for students.
Program Director Responsibilities
As the Agribusiness Program Director, you will:
• Program growth: Creatively expand opportunities for agribusiness education.
• Curriculum development: Continuously evaluate and update the curriculum to reflect industry trends, innovations, and global perspectives.
• Advisory Board collaboration: Work closely with the Agribusiness Advisory Board to guide program development.
• Faculty mentorship: Support and mentor agribusiness faculty to foster a culture of academic excellence.
• Student engagement: Serve as the Agribusiness Club advisor and oversee program scholarship and endowment programs.
• Industry partnerships: Participate in relevant events and actively develop industry partnerships to enhance student opportunities and program visibility.

Minimum Required Qualifications
• Ph.D. (earned or in progress) in agribusiness, agriculture, or a related field.
• Successful experience as an instructor in higher education.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional activity and scholarship.
Preferred Qualifications
• Relevant industry experience in agribusiness or a related field.
• Experience teaching in both face-to-face and online environments.
