Position Overview: As a School Psychologist, you’ll play a key role in assessing students’ needs, providing counseling, and working closely with teachers and families to support students' well-being. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative school environment and provide essential services to students who need them most.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, emotional, and social development
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
• Provide individual and group counseling to address students’ social and behavioral needs
• Support crisis intervention and prevention strategies as needed
• Offer staff training sessions on mental health awareness and effective student support strategies
Requirements:
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Valid New York state license as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
