Locums First is currently seeking a Locum Litigation Law solicitor for a position in Stornoway.
Our client is an impressive L500 full-service practice known for its friendly and modern approach. They are looking for a Locum to join their team on a rolling contract lasting 3 to 6 months, offering flexibility in terms of both full-time and part-time hours.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing contentious legal support with a primary focus on regulatory, housing, and enforcement work. This will involve collaborating with various teams, including public protection, housing (anti-social behavior), planning control, and trading standards. Additionally, the role may encompass some general civil litigation and regulatory matters.
Requirements:
• Qualified lawyers, including Solicitors, Barristers, and CILEX Fellows.
• Prior experience practicing in the field of Litigation Law.
• The ability to seamlessly integrate into a locum role within a hybrid working environment.
• Capability to work independently within a busy team.
• Must hold a UK Solicitor qualification.
Working Days and Hours:
• Up to 5 days per week are available.
• Flexible working days between Monday and Friday.
• Options for flexible working hours.
• This is a long-term role, and part-time hours will also be considered.
