Position Summary

The Business Partner Accountant is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing financial operations within the organization, with a focus on event settlements, budget management, financial reporting, and acting as primary liaison between business units and accounting.

Key Responsibilities: Qualifications:
• Event Settlement/Project Reconciliation:
• Own the process of event settlement and project reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Partner with Event Managers and/or Client Services teams to drive efficient settlement process .
• Budget Oversight:
• Responsible for overseeing spending against budgets, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and present one-off financial reports as required by management or stakeholders.
• Drive divisional monthly reporting to provide insights into financial performance.
• Business Partnership :
• Act as a single point of contact for finance-related matters, serving as the liaison between business units and the accounting department.
• Collect inputs for monthly reforecasts and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Meeting and Reviews :
• Meet with the business leaders on a monthly basis to review actual financials following month-end close.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience in financial project management, demonstrating the ability to handle complex financial processes and projects.
• Experience in the event or entertainment industry is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
