Responsible for overseeing and optimizing Ranken Jordan’s entire supply chain process. This position requires strategic vision, operational expertise, and strong leadership skills to ensure the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods from suppliers for Ranken Jordan.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leverage technology and data analytics to optimize supply chain operations and drive decision-making.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives and goals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the quality and reliability of the supply chain.
- Oversee inventory management team to ensure optimal stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and ensure a process to charge product usage to individual patients.
- Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely delivery of products to Ranken Jordan.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Assess supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget, tracking expenses and ensuring financial goals are met.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to supply chain operations.
- Manage preventive maintenance of respiratory equipment through an external biomedical engineering firm.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
People Management:
- Participate on Leadership Team and always strive to deliver on the mission of Ranken Jordan with alignment to the Strategic Plan.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Participate as requested on special committees and/or projects.
- Lead by exhibiting behavior consistent with the mission and values of Ranken Jordan and foster teamwork cross-departmentally.
- Ensure conformance with hospital policy, preserving our patient care model of “Care Beyond the Bedside.”
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; excellent communication and negotiation abilities; proficiency in supply chain software and technologies.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
These include stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, pulling, pushing, climbing ladders, standing, carrying, and lifting of heavy loads (up to 50 lb.)
