Inventory Accountant

Our client, located in Darien, CT is looking for an Inventory Accountant to join their team.

Responsibilities of Inventory Accountant:

• Perform the accounting transactions related to all inventory cycles, including Inventory Transfers, Receiving Inventory, recording vendor bills, Landed Costs, Assembly Builds, Inventory Adjustments.
• Review Bill of Materials for accuracy
• Review and update inventory pricing in NetSuite
• Inventory reconciliations; research and resolve discrepancies.
• Month end reconciliation of Inventory related General Ledger accounts, including Inventory in Transit, Accrued Purchases and Landed Costs
• Prepare Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau reporting as well as Tax Compliance documents
• Assist with annual financial documents as required by outside accountants
• Other ad hoc projects and responsibilities as needed

Preferred Qualifications of Inventory Accountant:

• Degree in Accounting, Business or Finance a plus
• 2+ years' relevant work experience, with at least 2 years of Inventory
• Warehouse/Manufacturing experience preferred
• NetSuite experience a plus
