ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST:

The client is looking to bring on an innovative, self-starting Accounting Specialist. Employees love the work environment, and most have long tenure there. They offer excellent benefits and love to promote from within.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist:

• Answer calls and emails regarding billing questions and issues
• Process monthly billing, autopay, and apply late fees and discounts as needed
• Authorize daily deposits, reconcile, and post in accounting system
• Prepares & process refunds
• Management of collection process and collection reporting
• Asist with month and year end close
• Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Specialist:

• 3+ years' accounting experience
• Intermediate Excel skills
• QuickBooks experience

The Accounting Specialist role is fully onsite in Akron, OH with a salary of $50,000- $55,000 depending on experience.
