SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Hopewell, PA
$75,000- $90,000

OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Preparing journal entries for month-end close, including recurring entries, prepaids, and accruals.
• Analyzing financial information and compiling reports for the monthly financial package.
• Creating allocation journal entries for accurate cost accounting.
• Reviewing and preparing monthly financial statements for affiliated companies.
• Conducting ongoing P&L reviews to support the monthly close process.
• Performing monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate fixed asset records.
• Preparing annual audit schedules and supporting external auditors.
• Providing ad-hoc financial support as a valuable internal resource.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (experience with filters, pivot tables, VLOOKUP). Familiarity with SAGE500 is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively.
