Your Contribution

• Direct daily activities of all personnel to enhance the overall efficiencies and accuracies of all processes required to obtain products in HU’s from staging locations and process through to loading trucks and shipping.
• Assign work and maintain workflow at optimum levels for domestic and export shipments. 
• Ensure work meets or exceeds quality standards for all processes. 
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. 
• Communicate and maintain company policies and disciplines.  Daily policing of the floor for enforcement of safety and productivity practices (cell phones, safety shoes, harnesses, staying busy, addressing problems in correct completion of tasks). 
• Maintain timely employee records concerning attendance and production performance. 
• Daily reporting of metrics on local SFM boards & daily operations meeting board.  Implement actions to achieve department KPI’s. 

Your Experience & Qualifications

• Must possess strong proven leadership and people skills including basic knowledge of Human Resource skills and Labor practices.

• Must have high school diploma.  Some college classes in business or manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to identify and solve problems, make decisions, and to work within assigned deadlines with a high attention to detail.
• Must have excellent attendance/safety record
• Intermediate computer skills, especially in MS Office
• SAP experience preferred
• Ability to operate material handling equipment required in department is preferred.
