Our youth treatment campus, New Directions , located in Pepper Pike, is currently hiring for a personable, knowledgeable team player for our Assistant Clinical Director position. The Assistant Clinical Director manages the development, implementation, service delivery, treatment outcomes, supervision of assigned staff (both clinical and managerial), and will carry an individual case load acting as a Therapist and delivering assessment, diagnostic, and treatment services. This individual will provide needed oversight, resources, and information for day-to-day operations of the department. Further duties include:
- Participate in the development, monitoring, and management of the department’s annual budget.
- Monitor staffing, coordinate schedules, and manage referrals/wait lists to most effectively meet the needs of the program.
- Develop, implement, and maintain program treatment models, policies, and procedures in accordance with relevant certifications/accreditation/fidelity standards.
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision of staff, training, and consultation. Complete ongoing performance appraisal of program staff.
- Identify and understand the needs and priorities of the community being served and develop and implement specific service activities in response.
- Collaborate with community partners to determine appropriate services and make recommendations regarding intervention models and strategies for meeting community needs.
Position Requirements:
- Must have a Master’s degree in a mental health-related field of study.
- LICDC, LISW, or LPCC required at a minimum. LICDC-CS, LISW-S, or LPCC-S preferred.
- At least three years in the behavioral health field (mental health and substance use), with previous experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families preferred.
- 2-3 years of increasing managerial responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience in gathering outcome data about client care and agency performance.
- Planning and management skills, particularly regarding furthering multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Must have an acceptable driving record (4 pts. or less), reliable transportation, and carry automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000.
